This role is a high touch point of client contact accountable to serve the unique and complex needs of Institutional clients. They partner with other Institutional Relationship Managers (IRM), Institutional Investment Advisors, and Institutional specialists roles to grow the Institutional business through active engagement in business development efforts, responding to Request-For-Proposals (RFP), and interfacing with OneTD partners. This role is also responsible for retaining and growing assigned client relationships and is accountable for exceeding client's expectation for relationship management. This role is at the center of the Institutional model providing front-line sales support, day-to-day account management and oversight, delivering excellent client service, supporting account administration, and developing sales and marketing materials with Not-For-Profit SME and IRMS for OneTD partners of external centers of influence.
Depth & Scope:
- Maximizes client acquisition, growth and retention by demonstrating a commitment to customer-centric behavior and by ensuring every prospect, customer and OneTD partner has a legendary interaction with Institutional Wealth
- Seeks to increase wallet share by partnering with and supporting Institutional Relationship Managers (IRMs), Institutional Investment Advisors (IIAs), Specialty Practice SME, and Corporate Trust Advisors as to ascertain investment management and Corporate Trust needs of TD Wealth clients and prospects
- Focuses on retaining and expanding Institutional business by supporting the Nonprofit Specialty Practice SME, IIAs, and IRMs in business development efforts with OneTD partners (e.g., TD Commercial, TD Small Business, TD Securities, TD Cowen) and COIs
- Maintains a deep understanding of TD Wealth's Institutional offering, including Custody, Escrow, Investment Management, and Corporate Trust services to address client needs
- Learns the OCMS system and works with Compliance to ensure all internal and external presentations have an appropriate review and approval
- Coordinates complex requests from internal colleagues to expedite accurate responses for clients and COIs through fostering communication with sources of pertinent internal metrics and other information needed for proposals
- Becomes an expert at Institutional business development efforts in working with Retail and Commercial partners
- Coordinates with IRMs, IIAs, and OneTD partners to respond to RFPs and develop proposals or related presentation materials
- Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval of proposals and presentation materials
- Maintains tracking data, coordinates with content contributors, and provides status information regarding outstanding proposals, client onboardings, and ad hoc projects
- Updates and retains a database of compliance reviewed proposal responses, leveraging this maintained database for scalability while also preparing quarterly statistics detailing the scale and scope of TD Wealth's Institutional offerings in a format that is easily understandable and can be presented to prospective clients
- Assists in the development and maintenance of a client reference list
- Prints, binds and arranges for delivery of proposal submissions
- Partners with the marketing team to develop a sales presentation for internal partners, external prospects, and COIs that delivers a clear and concise message
- Executes in a manner that is compliant with regulations, policies, and procedures
- Adheres to all federal, state, SRO regulations and Firm policies related to all business activities (i.e. OCC, SEC, FINRA, etc.)
- Contributes individually and as a team member, to ensure strong performance, collaboration and enthusiasm that sets TD Wealth apart from our competitors
- Represents TD Wealth to the public in a professional manner
- Is involved in the community and supports TDBG charity and community initiatives
- Understands and supports the Bank's Customer Service Strategy
- Considers the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its Customers and stakeholders
- Provides the highest level of Customer service when dealing with internal partners, vendors or our Customers - WOW at every opportunity

Education & Experience:
- 4-year degree, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of Financial Services experience in a sales and service capacity (i.e. track record of high client satisfaction, client retention, and meeting sales goals) required
- Active Securities Licenses: Series 7, 63 Required; 65 preferred or ability to obtain
- Consultative sales experience required
- Ensures all Continuing Education requirements are attained
- Understanding wealth management business development techniques, products, services, and overall industry
- Understanding of Institutional client needs and products and services available to clients within the segment
- Ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with other departments within TD Wealth and TD Bank, U.S.
- Personalized customer service skills, including ability to work with wide variety of clients and provide an exceptional level of service
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, as well as part of a team - working well with other team members and keeping all relevant individuals, including management, up to date in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) as well as Adobe Pro
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
- Must have experience working within a high collaborative team environment
