Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Inspection in Bridgeport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with the orderly flow of authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Communicate clearly with site leadership, dispatch personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, hazards, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
