Advanced Electrical Engineer

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As an electrical engineer for Undersea Mission Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing complex undersea communication systems.

 

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

 

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand complex electronic schematics for a Circuit Card Assembly (CCA)
• Proficiency with EDA/schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad)
• Ability to perform or support circuit simulation (e.g., SPICE, LTspice) to validate functional behavior pre-fabrication
• Familiarity with PCB layout considerations to support layout team during fabrication phase
• Ability to author and review formal test procedures for CCA-level functional testing
• Skilled in troubleshooting hardware anomalies at the board level using signal tracing and diagnostic techniques

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $118,519.00 - USD $131,482.00 /Yr.
