Position Overview
The Senior Revenue Operations Analyst - Deal Desk & Order Management plays a critical role in enabling scalable, compliant, and efficient revenue execution across the go-to-market organization at a high-growth B2B edtech SaaS company. Working primarily in Salesforce, this role performs quality assurance on opportunities before deals go out to clients, supports complex deal structures, ensures accurate order processing, and upholds revenue policies. This role partners across the business - particularly with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and Billing..
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in deal desk operations, opportunity and quote QA, contract review, and order-to-cash processes in Salesforce, with a strong ability to balance speed, accuracy, and risk management.
What You'll Do
Deal Desk & Commercial Support
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex, non-standard, and high-value sales deals
- Review and support complex deal structures including pricing, discounting, contract terms, renewals, amendments, multi-year agreements, and non-standard billing arrangements
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to structure opportunities and contracts accurately, navigate non-standard requirements, and coordinate necessary approvals.
- Help Sales and Customer Success navigate products, pricing structures, business rules, approval requirements, and special terms.
Opportunity QA & Deal Quality
- Perform quality assurance reviews of opportunities in Salesforce prior to deals going out to clients, verifying products, pricing, discounts, terms, and required data are accurate and complete
- Catch and resolve errors in quotes, proposals, and order forms before they reach the client, protecting deal integrity and the customer experience
- Develop and maintain QA checklists and approval criteria, and identify opportunities for Salesforce validations or workflow improvements to prevent recurring errors upstream.
Order Processing & Accuracy
- Oversee end-to-end order processing to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant booking of customer orders
- Manage multiple active transactions simultaneously in a high-volume environment, balancing speed with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Validate contract terms, product configurations, pricing, and billing schedules in Salesforce prior to booking
- Ensure clean handoff from Sales to Finance, Billing, and Customer Success
- Proactively identify and resolve order issues that could impact booking, invoicing, downstream revenue processes, or the customer experience.
- Client vendor onboarding form completion: Manage end-to-end processing of client vendor paperwork, ensuring that the necessary paperwork received from the client
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a trusted resource to Sales and Customer Success, helping teams navigate business rules, product configurations, special terms, and transaction requirements without unnecessarily slowing down deals.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal and Billing to ensure transactions follow internal business rules and are structured correctly for downstream billing and revenue processes.
- Partner with Marketing on pricing and packaging rollouts, promotions, and campaign-to-opportunity data quality in Salesforce
- Act as a trusted partner to Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations on process improvements, tooling enhancements, and policy updates
- Support audits and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate documentation and approvals
Process Improvement & Enablement
- Identify opportunities to streamline deal desk and order processing workflows to improve speed, quality, and scalability
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of deal desk policies, approval matrices, and playbooks
- Provide coaching and informal mentorship to junior analysts within the team
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve Salesforce, quoting, and order management workflows, partnering with technical RevOps resources on enhancements.
- Create enablement documentation for sales team to understand new processes within order management in Salesforce
- Own the DocuSign process: Serve as the owner of the DocuSign process, managing document routing, signatures, and completion tracking from initiation through execution.
Reporting & Insights
- Track and analyze deal trends, approval bottlenecks, discounting patterns, and common exceptions
- Partner with leadership to provide insights that inform pricing strategy, sales effectiveness, and operational efficiency
- Assist in reconciliation of historical orders and help triage cleanup efforts within Salesforce.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Order Management, or Sales Operations within a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, SaaS pricing models, and subscription-based contracts
- Experience reviewing complex deal structures, including custom pricing, multi-year agreements, and non-standard terms
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and familiarity with CPQ/quoting workflows. Experience may include Salesforce CPQ, Conga/Apttus, Oracle CPQ, DealHub, or other commercial quoting solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
