Process Operator I

You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely movement of raw materials, finished goods, packaging materials, and other inventory within the manufacturing and warehouse environment. The role supports inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring smooth material flow between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency by supporting loading and unloading activities, inventory movements, warehouse organization, and delivery readiness while adhering to all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling & Warehouse Operations

• Operate forklift trucks and other powered industrial vehicles (PIT) safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload raw materials, finished goods, packaging materials, and other inventory from trucks and containers.

• Transport materials between receiving, warehouse storage, production, and shipping areas.

• Stack, store, and retrieve materials from designated warehouse locations, including high-rack storage where applicable.

• Support material replenishment activities to ensure uninterrupted production operations.

Logistics Support

• Support daily inbound and outbound logistics activities, including approximately 10-15 deliveries per day or higher as business volumes increase.

• Verify shipment quantities and material condition during loading and unloading activities.

• Prepare products and materials for shipment according to established procedures.

• Assist in ensuring timely truck turnaround and dispatch schedules.

Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate movement of inventory according to warehouse procedures.

• Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock verification activities.

• Ensure materials are stored in the correct locations and properly identified.

• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or storage issues promptly.

Safety & Compliance

• Operate all equipment in accordance with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report equipment issues immediately.

• Follow warehouse housekeeping standards and 5S practices.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, quality, and site operational procedures.

Continuous Improvement

• Assist in warehouse and logistics process improvement initiatives.

• Support operational flexibility by performing other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

• Contribute to maintaining high service levels and minimizing material handling bottlenecks.

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary School Certificate / SPM or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.

• Experience in loading and unloading operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred.

• Experience handling both raw materials and finished goods is an advantage.

Certifications

• Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification required.
