Responsibilities
Full-time, on-site Logistics Operations Manager responsible for executing all aspects of traditional logistics business lines for procurement:
- Transportation arrangement, services and fleet management
- Accountable property for sponsor equipment and tracking/oversight of assets systematically to enhance the relocation of equipment, movement requirements and enable controls for stock management assisting the sponsor with contract programs
- Office stock management and procurement
- Ensure compliance with supply chain requirements with daily support and reporting
- Plan and execute mission logistic support activities in coordination with operational activities and exercises
- Maintain and or establish close working relationships with multiple program elements: work closely and leverage various logistics or support elements across the agency
- Manage, oversee or provide guidance for all procurements and personal property within portfolio
- Development procurement plans for materials and services in coordination with operation teams
- Cache requirements and inventory management for sponsor and sponsors stakeholders
- Support and maintain inventories; arrange transportation of procurements abd people; coordinate vehicle maintenance
- Position works independently to support the portfolio of sites, but regularly coordinates with other team members for all large movement of materials
Qualifications
- TS/SCI with relevant Polygraph is required
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study and 12 years of experience; an additional 5 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of (5) years’ experience with sponsor logistics activities
- Knowledge of supply chain management, transportation methods
- General working knowledge of sponsor, local and federal logistics regulations, policies and proceduresExcellent organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communication across multiple stakeholders
- Experience with accountable property and appropriate applications for tracking
