About the Role
Pro 2 Pave, Inc. is seeking an experienced and leadership-minded Grading Foreman to join our team. You will be the 'boots on the ground' leader, responsible for overseeing a dedicated grading crew and coordinating seamlessly with our prep crew.
This is a seasonal, hourly position with significant opportunities for overtime throughout the peak season. If you have a sharp eye for grade, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lead a team toward high-quality results, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate a grading crew to ensure daily production goals are met safely and efficiently.
Project Coordination: Work closely with the prep crew and project managers to sequence work and maintain the project schedule.
Technical Oversight: Read and understand site plans to ensure precise grading, drainage, and compaction before asphalt application.
Equipment Management: Oversee the proper use and daily maintenance of grading equipment (skid steers, graders, rollers, etc.).
Safety First: Enforce all company safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Proven experience in sub-grade preparation, fine grading, and/or asphalt paving operations.
Leadership: Prior experience in a supervisory or foreman role within the construction industry.
Licensing: * Class A CDL is highly preferred.
A valid Driver’s License is required.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of soil types, compaction requirements, and grade-checking techniques.
Stamina: Ability to work long hours outdoors and handle the physical demands of a busy construction site.
