The Key Component Repair Services & Business Transformation Leader leads the Key Component Repair Services team within Business Aviation Services – Parts Availability and reports directly to the Vice President, Parts Availability.
The role combines accountability for reliable and seamless repair-service delivery with a defined mandate to support the Vice President in leading business improvement, transformation, digitalisation and data-driven initiatives across the wider Parts Availability organisation. It is responsible for developing a capable, engaged and high-performing team while improving the processes, systems and organisational interfaces needed to support increasing business volumes through more scalable, automated and seamless ways of working.
Working across Repair Services, Parts Availability and relevant interfacing functions, the role will translate strategic priorities into practical initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen organisational alignment and decision-making, and deliver measurable value to internal and external customers. The role will also represent and deputise for the Vice President within agreed areas of responsibility when required.
Leadership, Coaching and Team Development
- Lead, motivate and develop the Key Component Repair Services team.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, trust and continuous improvement.
- Coach team members, strengthen capability and encourage greater ownership of operational delivery.
- Establish clear priorities, performance expectations and development objectives.
Operational Leadership
- Ensure the reliable and seamless delivery of repair services for Line Replaceable Units and Nacelle Components across multiple suppliers and engine platforms.
- Maintain oversight of repair orders, quotations, approvals, supplier backlogs, turnaround times and operational priorities.
- Ensure delivery meets relevant commercial, contractual, technical, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Manage operational risks, priorities and escalations while maintaining a strong focus on customer value.
Business Improvement and Transformation
- Lead agreed business-improvement and transformation initiatives across Parts Availability, with the sponsorship of the Vice President.
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks and opportunities to improve quality, responsiveness and productivity.
- Translate improvement opportunities into structured initiatives with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.
- Develop scalable ways of working that enable increasing business volumes to be managed efficiently.
- Support the successful implementation and adoption of new processes and ways of working.
Digitalisation, Data and Innovation
- Champion the practical use of automation, AI, Power BI and other digital solutions to improve business performance.
- Support the simplification and automation of transactional and administrative processes.
- Use data and analytics to improve visibility, forecasting, decision-making and performance management.
- Develop internal digital and improvement capability and encourage sustainable adoption of new tools.
Cross-Functional and Stakeholder Leadership
- Strengthen alignment within Parts Availability and with relevant interfacing teams.
- Work collaboratively across Commercial, Engineering, Technical Services, Supply Chain, Supplier Management, Finance, Legal and Compliance.
- Build effective relationships with repair vendors and relevant Business Aviation customers.
- Support negotiations and escalations relating to warranty, liability, pricing, delivery and service scope where required.
Strategic Support
- Support the Vice President in translating organisational priorities into coordinated operational and transformation activity.
- Provide clear recommendations based on operational data and stakeholder insight.
- Represent and deputise for the Vice President within agreed areas of responsibility.
