What you’ll contribute to 

Are you passionate about turning data and insights into meaningful business outcomes?

We're looking for a Business Strategy Coordinator to play a key role in shaping the future direction of Toyota Australia's Aftersales business. By analyzing data, identifying trends and opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives, you will help influence decisions that impact customers, Dealers and the long-term success of the business.

This role is based in Altona, with travel to Port Melbourne Toyota CHQ as required, and is on a Permanent basis.

How you’ll make an impact 

  • Support the implementation of divisional plans and programs aligned with business objectives, strategic priorities and mid to long-term value chain goals.

  • Research, analyse and interpret business data to assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Coordinate planning activities and stakeholder forums to ensure alignment, engagement and effective communication of strategic priorities and progress.

  • Gather, consolidate and analyse planning information to identify risks, opportunities and emerging trends that support informed decision-making.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of strategic planning activities against objectives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement where required.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business performance and operational effectiveness.

  • Develop reports, dashboards and presentations that provide meaningful insights to leaders and stakeholders.

Your attributes – If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! 

  • A degree in Business, Commerce or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience in business planning, strategy, reporting, data analysis or a similar analytical role.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail and ability to use large and diverse datasets to uncover trends, risks and opportunities.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools.

  • Commercial acumen and the ability to translate data into practical business recommendations.
