Operations Advisor (Part-Time, Short term)
Job Summary
Troy7 is seeking an Operations Advisor to provide part-time, Short-term support for the Test Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering (TFOME) contract at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This position serves as a trusted advisor to program leadership, providing operational expertise, institutional knowledge, and strategic guidance to support successful contract execution and continuity of operations.
Essential Duties
Advise program leadership on operational readiness, maintenance planning, and contract execution.
Provide technical guidance on facility operations, maintenance, utilities, and work management processes.
Share institutional knowledge, site-specific procedures, and customer expectations to support operational continuity.
Support customer engagement, program planning, and operational decision-making.
Recommend improvements to maintenance planning, work prioritization, and operational processes.
Assist in developing and reviewing operational procedures, documentation, and best practices.
Participate in meetings and provide technical recommendations on program initiatives and special projects.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience supporting facility operations, maintenance, industrial plant systems, or federal operations and maintenance programs.
Previous leadership experience in operations, maintenance, or program management.
Experience supporting NASA Glenn Research Center or similar federal facilities preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer relationship management skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain required site access credentials.
