Quality Auditor

BASIC FUNCTION
Perform product/EPC audits at production operations and on the shipping dock to ensure quality standards.

Work from control plans, drawings, specifications, samples and instructions:

1.         Inspect various parts and assemblies visually and using fixed and/or adjustable gages.

2.         Verify identification labels and remove old labels.

3.         Complete DMRs, the DMR log and the dock audit inspection results log.

4.         Communicate discrepancies and other information with personnel within and outside of department in a professional manner.

5.         Assist Supervisor with updating and maintaining manuals & documents.

6.         Retrieve drawings, work instructions, visual aids and other documents from eChange to assist with inspection.

7.         Perform process audits and complete necessary forms as required.

8.         Assist with gage recall and calibration.

9.         Complete EPC Summary inspection sheets and enter the data into the computer.

Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Use personal computer, forklift, and measurement gauges/devices.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Degree Requirements: High school diploma or GED, Associates degree preferred.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to attain a forklift license within 30 days.
• Ability to work overtime during shift overlaps and when other team leaders are absent.
• Acquire computer skills to work with Microsoft programs.
• Acquire mechanical skills.
• Knowledgeable of SPC.
• Acquire interpersonal skills relative to leading a team: conflict resolution, motivation, delegation, etc.
• Acquire strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with leading a team.

Pay Range: $18.20 - $26.67

Internal Candidates: Eligibility to Bid

•     Employees with less than one year of service are only eligible to bid on higher paying labor grade positions.

•     Employees with more than one year of service will receive first consideration. 

•     Employees in a Disciplinary Step 1 are eligible to bid on any job.

•     Employees in Step 2 are eligible to bid on any job after 1 year.

•     Employees in Step 3 are eligible to bid on any job after 1 year.

•     If an employee accepted a new position, they cannot bid on the same or lower paying labor grade for 1 year.

•     If you were previously forced out of this job classification and are interested in returning to the position, you must complete a job bidding form.

•     This Position requires that you be able to Read and Write English;

•     Applicants must meet all criteria in the job bidding process

•     Employees who have been interviewed within 6 months for the SAME exact position may not be re-interview.
