Job Summary:
The Market Development Partner (MDP) is responsible for cultivating and managing strategic relationships with key market stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community-based organizations, LTSS entities, and advocacy groups, driving growth by self-generating leads and supporting the enrollment of Medicare-eligible beneficiaries through established sales channels. The MDP develops and executes targeted outreach and engagement plans within assigned communities to achieve lead generation and enrollment goals.
Essential Functions:
- Identify, establish, and cultivate strategic partnerships with key influencers to achieve assigned membership growth (enrollment) goals.
- Self-generate new membership leads and enrollments across assigned channels/territory through relationship building and education of key influencers (Health care Providers, Community-based organizations, and Advocacy Groups).
- Participate in strategy development and ensure Organizational readiness related to membership growth in identified diverse communities including meeting language needs and cultural competencies.
- Develop and execute community and provider presentations, community activities and other Sales/Educational events in accordance with current approved communication and marketing programs and CMS/State regulations.
- Conduct ongoing education/training to multiple levels of partner staff respective to CCA products, programs, and process.
- Closely collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with Sales/Outreach and Broker channels related to Enrollment activity.
- Perform any other job related duties as requested.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in business or related field required
- Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education
- Four (4) years of related experience required
- Two (2) years of Medicare Advantage Carrier Experience required
- Experience working with Community Based Organizations, Providers and/or Advocacy Groups required
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Exceptional time management skills, strong attention to detail required
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to speak to groups of all sizes
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member
- Requires ability to interact professionally and effectively with management, internal staff, and external customers
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Licensure and Certification:
- Active State Health Insurance Producer License REQUIRED
- Must have valid driver's license, vehicle and verifiable insurance. Employment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver’s license record check. If the driver’s license record results are unacceptable, the offer will be withdrawn or, if employee has started employment in position, employment in this position will be terminated
- To help protect our employees, members, and the communities we serve from acquiring communicable diseases, Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position. CareSource requires annual proof of Influenza vaccination for designated positions during Influenza season (October 1 – March 31) as a condition of continued employment. Employees hired during Influenza season will have thirty (30) days from their hire date to complete the required vaccination and have record of immunization verified.

Working Conditions:
- This is a mobile position, meaning that regular travel to different work locations, including homes, offices or other public settings, is essential.

Must reside in the same territory they are assigned to work in; exceptions may be considered, due to business need
May be required to travel greater than 50% of time to perform work duties.

Flexible hours, including possible evenings and/or weekends as needed to serve the needs of our members - Over 50% (Mobile) Routine travel required
Compensation Range:
$62,700.00 - $100,400.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
