What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel and help to deter unauthorized access and loss-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
