What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of our Lending Operations team, you'll ensure vehicle and vessel titles are processed accurately, liens are perfected timely, and documentation remains compliant with Credit Union and regulatory requirements. Your role will include:
- Title Processing – Review loan packages and submit title documentation accurately and timely.
- Lien Perfection – Ensure liens are properly recorded on consumer, business vehicle, vessel, and indirect loans.
- Title Tracking – Maintain accurate records and monitor pending titles to quickly resolve exceptions.
- Partner Communication – Work closely with members, dealerships, financial institutions, and state agencies to address title-related matters.
- Lien Releases – Process paid loan title releases and ensure timely notification to all parties.
- Subject Matter Expertise – Support lending and processing teams with title requirements, documentation standards, and process guidance.
- Problem Solving & Compliance – Research and resolve title issues while ensuring adherence to Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring to the Table
You're a detail-oriented professional who combines strong organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and service excellence.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of title processing, lending operations, automotive finance, or financial institution experience.
- At least one (1) year of auto lending, loan processing, or loan officer experience.
- Knowledge of vehicle titles, lien perfection, and consumer lending processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and member service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with quality control, auditing, compliance, or ELT systems is a plus.
