About the Role
Plans, manages and monitors accounting and finance activities and processes for maximum operating efficiency; manages and develops direct reports for optimum performance.Your Impact
- Responsible for performance and activities of direct reports to include allocation of workload, goal setting, coaching, training and providing continuous feedback. Oversees and provides clear direction on assigned work. - Develops personnel to ensure efficient and highly skilled workforce to meet the department and organizational goals/activities; recommends training, assigns projects, and provides other avenues for employee development opportunities; provides constructive feedback and coaching to members when necessary to encourage professional development. - Works with recruiting during the hiring process (i.e. reviewing resumes, participating in interviews, providing timely feedback, etc.); acclimates new hires; assigns, directs and evaluates their work; provides continuous feedback.. - Adheres to all state and federal employment laws. - Plans, directs and oversees departmental activities; monitors performance and productivity to ensure objectives are met. - Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives to determine department performance relative to stated goals and objectives; implements countermeasures accordingly. - Evaluates current procedures and practices of the department in order to develop and implement process improvements. Develops and implements profit-making and/or cost-saving ideas. - Coordinates activities of the department with interrelated activities of other departments in order to complete projects that meet company objectives. - Determines tactics for meeting operational objectives and mobilizes resources accordingly. - Ensures the accuracy of financial transactions, processes, and forecasts with a high degree of independence and autonomy. - Demonstrates a deep and comprehensive understanding of the respective core function and serves as the subject matter expert for that area. - Demonstrates aptitude using enterprise information systems (Oracle, Hyperion, PeopleSoft). Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. - Accountable for ensuring tight deadlines are met for periodic closing and/or forecast cycles (monthly, mid-year, annual, etc.) as well as other special projects and assignments. - Maintains and monitors compliance with applicable Financial Policies & Procedures and Regulations; actively develops new accounting/financial controls when needed. - Effectively represents the Accounting and Finance department in meetings and - periodically prepares and delivers financial presentations for various meetings. The pay range for this position is $ 91,311 - $ 116,421 | FLSA: ExemptAbout You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 5-8 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and 2-5 years supervisory and/or project coordination experience. - CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred. - Must be 18 years of age or older.Company Overview

Hybrid - This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office 4 days a week and an option to work from home 1 day out of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on the other day). Standard in office days are Monday and Wednesday. The third and fourth in office day is determined by divisional management. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Skills
