Expectations:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse coordinates New Hire physicals, PPD, Mask Fit Testing, and Workers' Compensation injuries. This position is responsible for performing nursing services requiring technical and manual skills under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Physician. This position requires flexibility of hours. Monday through Friday between 7a - 4p.

EDUCATION:
Graduate from accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum two (2) years of outpatient clinic experience required.
Experience in a multi-specialty clinic setting preferred.
Experience in Workers' Compensation or Insurance preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license issued by State of California.
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
Current Intravenous Therapy (IV) & Blood Withdrawal Certificate issued by California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT)

SKILLS:
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Basic computer skills, Excel proficient, Fax, Copier, Telephone.
Ability to multi-task in busy clinic setting.
Excellent communication skills.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $34.18 - $45.95.

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
