Job Summary:
GMP Cleanroom Cleaning Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and compliance of cleanroom environments within a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facility. They are responsible for ensuring that cleanrooms meet the strict cleanliness and sterility standards required in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of GMP areas / cleanrooms, ensuring they meet or exceed GMP cleanliness standards.
- Clean and maintain specialized cleanroom equipment, including sterilization and decontamination procedures.
- Accurately record cleaning activities, including dates, times, and cleaning agents used, in compliance with GMP documentation requirements.
- Ensure adherence to GMP regulations, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
- Monitor and report any potential contamination or deviations from cleanliness standards to supervisory staff.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring they are readily available for use.
- Wear appropriate PPE per SOP’s, including cleanroom garments, gloves, and masks, to prevent contamination while working in GMP/cleanroom environments.
- Collaborate with GMP/cleanroom operators, engineers, and quality assurance personnel to coordinate cleaning schedules and address cleaning-related issues.
- Stay updated on GMP/cleanroom cleaning techniques, equipment, and GMP regulations through ongoing training and education.
- 7am-3:30pm MF
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Ability to read, write and comprehend basic English.
- Previous experience in GMP/cleanroom cleaning environment or similar type roles.
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and cleanroom protocols is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a controlled environment.
- Lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
- Ability to wear cleanroom garments and PPE for extended periods.
- Work in cleanroom environments with controlled temperature, humidity, and cleanliness levels.
- May involve working flexible hours to accommodate cleanroom usage schedules.
Compensation
Harvard is offering a competitive salary structure $24.00 p/h including benefit package with medical, dental, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance along with 401K Savings Plan.
