Fiber Laser Operator- Flat or Tube Laser

 

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fiber Laser Operator (Flat tube or Laser) role in Marion, OH. Key Responsibilities:
· Operate, monitor, and maintain fiber laser cutting equipment (flatbed and/or tube laser).
· Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.
· Set up and adjust CNC laser controls, tooling, and material handling systems for efficient operation.
· Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machines to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.
· Troubleshoot and correct issues related to laser performance, cutting quality, or material handling.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
· Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

 

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Experience operating fiber laser cutting systems (flat or tube) highly preferred.
· Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming adjustments is a plus.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately.
· Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.
· Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented.
