Office Custodial Technician

Veneer Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Office Custodial Technician who will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized, and professional environment across all office spaces, conference rooms, restrooms, Breakrooms, and common areas. This role requires an eye for detail, deep knowledge of commercial cleaning standards, and the ability to operate specialized janitorial equipment safely. The goal is to provide a safe, sterile, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain executive offices, cubicles, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, reception areas, and other assigned areas on a daily basis.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and surfaces throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, countertops, keyboards, and other frequently used areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms and replenish paper products, soap, and other necessary supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles, replace liners, and transport waste to designated dumpsters.
• Perform carpet spot-cleaning and extraction, as well as other routine floor-care duties using appropriate equipment.
• Clean interior glass, mirrors, partitions, doors, and designated exterior windows.
• Clean and sanitize breakrooms, including tables, countertops, sinks, and kitchen appliances.
• Monitor cleaning and facility supply levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Properly handle, store, dilute, and dispose of cleaning chemicals in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all applicable safety procedures.
• Secure designated doors and windows when completing after-hours cleaning duties.
• Inspect assigned areas for maintenance concerns or safety issues and report items such as burned-out light bulbs, leaks, damaged fixtures, or other facility concerns to the Facilities Manager or Supervisor.
• Perform other custodial and facility-related duties as assigned.

Schedule:

8-hour shift: Day 7am-3:30pm 

Monday to Friday

Weekends Off! 

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional cleaning experience in a commercial office setting preferred.
•  Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical safety, and dilution control systems.
•  Proficiency with commercial vacuums and floor buffers
•  Ability to work efficiently independently under minimal supervision while meeting fixed daily cleaning schedules.
•  Basic verbal and written skills to read chemical instructions and communicate maintenance issues.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders safely to dust high fixtures and vents.
