Heartline Staffing is recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 26-week psychiatric nursing assignment in South Mountain, Pennsylvania. Two openings are currently available on the evening shift.

Travel Pay Package

• $2,046 gross weekly
• $20.00/hour taxable rate
• $50.00/hour overtime rate

Assignment Details

• 26-week contract
• Psychiatric / Mental Health setting
• Evening shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• 5x8 schedule
• 2 openings
• Overtime available

What You Will Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a psychiatric setting
• Assess and monitor patient condition, behavior and safety
• Provide appropriate nursing interventions within the RN scope of practice
• Support patient safety during the assigned shift
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate changes in patient condition to appropriate members of the healthcare team
• Follow established psychiatric care, safety and facility protocols
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members

Requirements

• Current, active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Psychiatric or mental health nursing experience required
• Strong nursing assessment and communication skills
• Ability to monitor and support patient safety in a psychiatric setting
• Knowledge of crisis prevention and intervention
• Must be able to work the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM evening shift consistently
• Must meet all applicable Commonwealth and facility requirements prior to placement

Preferred: At least one year of psychiatric nursing experience, BLS/CPR certification, previous behavioral health or inpatient psychiatric experience, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention certification.

RN licensure, experience and required credentials will be verified prior to submission.
