Job SummaryThe Site Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring that cleaning, maintenance, staffing, and site-support activities are performed to the highest standards.The ideal candidate is an experienced operations and facilities leader with proven management and project management experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining accountability for safety, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall site performance.This position requires a hands-on leader who can identify problems, develop solutions, coordinate personnel and resources, and ensure that work is completed correctly and on schedule.Essential Qualifications – RequiredCandidates must possess the following:Proven management or supervisory experience in a janitorial, custodial, facilities, maintenance, construction, or related operations environment.Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to plan, coordinate, execute, and follow up on projects involving personnel, equipment, materials, deadlines, and budgets.Strong mechanical skills and mechanical aptitude are mandatory.Ability to troubleshoot, identify, and address basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, equipment, and facility-related issues.Experience operating and maintaining commercial cleaning and floor-care equipment.Ability to read and understand equipment instructions, maintenance requirements, safety procedures, and site specifications.Proven ability to supervise employees, delegate assignments, enforce policies, and hold team members accountable.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to interact professionally with clients, employees, vendors, contractors, and management.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.ResponsibilitiesStaff & Operations ManagementSupervise and coordinate cleaning and maintenance staff to ensure efficient daily operations.Assign work, establish priorities, monitor productivity, and ensure completion of scheduled tasks.Enforce attendance, performance, safety, and workplace policies.Train, coach, and develop employees to meet DSA standards.Address employee performance issues promptly and communicate concerns to management.Foster a professional work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and high performance.Facility & Mechanical ResponsibilitiesConduct routine facility inspections to identify cleaning, maintenance, mechanical, and safety concerns.Troubleshoot basic mechanical and facility issues and determine when outside vendors or specialized contractors are required.Perform or coordinate basic preventative maintenance.Identify issues involving equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC-related concerns, doors, fixtures, and other facility components.Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure employees are properly trained in its operation.Coordinate repairs and maintenance while minimizing disruption to site operations.Janitorial & Cleaning OperationsOversee janitorial and custodial activities to ensure compliance with DSA quality and cleanliness standards.Monitor floor-care operations, including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and maintaining various floor surfaces.Conduct routine quality-control inspections.Ensure all areas of the facility are properly serviced according to the site scope and client expectations.Coordinate industrial cleaning projects while ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.Assist with residential or commercial painting projects when necessary.Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.Project ManagementPlan and manage site-specific projects from initiation through completion.Develop timelines, assign resources, coordinate personnel, and monitor project progress.Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to DSA quality standards.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, employees, and management as needed.Identify project risks and develop solutions before they affect operations.Provide management with project updates, completion status, and any issues requiring escalation.Maintain appropriate documentation for projects, inspections, repairs, and corrective actions.Inventory & Resource ManagementMaintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, tools, and other site resources.Monitor supply usage and identify shortages before they impact operations.Submit supply and equipment requests as needed.Ensure company equipment and resources are properly maintained and secured.Minimize waste and unnecessary operating expenses.Customer Service & Quality AssuranceMaintain strong relationships with clients and site representatives.Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns.Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions when standards are not met.Ensure the facility consistently meets or exceeds DSA's quality standards.Communicate site challenges, accomplishments, staffing needs, and operational concerns to
