Hours: Mon-Wed 4-8pm; 12hrs/week

Role:
To greet and assist guests both on the phone and in person, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all visitors to the church, providing a positive first impression, and efficiently connect them with the appropriate ministry staff member or volunteer
- Manage main desk phone calls, answering questions and directing calls as needed.
- Maintain the safety/security in the Commons, paying particular attention to those with suspicious appearance or behavior and follow proper security guidelines
- Manage USPS and package deliveries and pickups
- Manage Lost & Found items
- Assist with projects to support Westwood staff as available
- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
- Someone who lives a life that honors God in heart, actions, and relationships, with the goal of becoming more like Jesus
- One to two years general office experience (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Good verbal communication skills, on the phone and in person
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Ability to relate to other Westwood staff and church attenders at large
- Endorse and support Westwood’s Statement of Faith
- Remain a member in good standing of Westwood Community Church
