We invite suitable candidates to apply for the Manager, Student Administration (Graduate Studies) position with CCDS. Reporting to the Head, Research and Graduate Programmes, the incumbent will lead the administration and operations of CCDS’s graduate research programmes and research talent initiatives, ensuring strong governance, smooth programme delivery, and high-quality support for students, faculty, donors, and external partners.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the administration and operations of postgraduate research programmes, including admissions, candidature matters, academic milestones, and student support.
Oversee scholarship and fellowship administration, including donor scholarships and external PhD fellowships, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead, supervise, and develop a team to ensure effective service delivery, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.
Support governance, committee work, and compliance with university policies and academic regulations.
Work closely with faculty, students, central offices, donors, and external partners to support graduate studies and research talent initiatives.
Requirements
A recognised Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
At least 6–8 years of relevant experience in graduate programme administration, student administration, research administration, or a similar role, preferably in a tertiary education institution.
At least 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities, lead process improvement, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Experience in scholarship or fellowship administration and familiarity with university policies and governance processes will be an advantage.
