Description
This position serves as the primary Commercial Representative for the entire Zoetis Global Hatchery portfolio within their assigned market/region. The position is responsible for providing high-level commercial support to achieve annual gross revenue and margin targets within budgeted expense parameters.
This position is focused on driving new business growth and customer retention within assigned accounts, including Embrex, Hatchery Vaccines, and VMD, across the assigned market/region.
As the Regional Commercial Support Lead, this position brings a strong level of industry and product knowledge gained through experience within the assigned market/region. The position is also responsible for supporting the development and capabilities of other market-level BioDevice Commercial staff.
This position will dynamically support areas of need within the International Commercial Organizations and contribute to the development and growth of the BioDevices and Hatchery portfolio business within their assigned markets.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with local market Poultry Business Unit Managers and/or BioDevice Commercial Managers to assist in developing strategies, identifying key customers, and identifying business opportunities.
- Provides product portfolio training to local market Poultry/BioDevice Business Unit Managers and their teams to increase understanding of the Hatchery portfolio.
- Works closely with other BioDevice Commercial Managers and Support Specialists to ensure alignment with the Global BioDevices strategy.
- Promotes and supports commercial activities, including lease, sales, and package programs, for the Zoetis Global Hatchery portfolio, including Hatchery Vaccines, BioDevices, Parts, and Services.
- Coordinates all Zoetis BioDevices commercial activities within assigned markets/regions.
- Is responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual BioDevices portfolio forecasting for the assigned market/region.
- Manages corporate and complex-level communications with customers regarding Zoetis Global Hatchery, VMD, products, and services.
- Develops account plans for assigned accounts and serves as a team member on account plans led by market-level Commercial teammates.
- Maintains current knowledge of customers and utilizes the Hatchery Database to maximize business opportunities.
- Initiates and maintains regular communication regarding customer requirements with internal Zoetis groups, including Customer Service, Veterinary Services, Marketing, market-level Commercial teams, and Global Hatchery Operations.
- Continues to build and develop an industry network to strengthen understanding of customer strategies and gain early awareness of and involvement in emerging opportunities, when applicable.
- Prepares reports to keep management and team members informed of industry news, customer developments, sales objectives, accomplishments, and competitive information.
- Builds customer loyalty to Zoetis Global Hatchery products and services by developing relationships with key account decision-makers and influencers.
- Provides feedback to support the development of marketing plans.
- Utilizes the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage accounts, contacts, and business activities.
- Stays abreast of changes and future needs within assigned accounts and provides monthly forecasts.
- Provides proactive guidance for Operating Plan development and execution.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Life Sciences, Agribusiness, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in poultry, animal health, agricultural, or related industry
- 4+ years of commercial/customer-facing experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- 7+ years of experience in BioDevice preferred
- Business acumen
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project software)
- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 to $220,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
