Information Security Strategy and Enablement
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Information Security Strategy and Enablement develops, recommends, and implements enterprise information security policies, technical standards, guidelines, procedures, and other elements of an infrastructure necessary to support information security in compliance with established company policies, regulatory requirements, and generally accepted information security controls. Responsible for the selection and delivery of strategic network security, access control and secure transaction/messaging solutions.
How you will make an impact:
- Own the management and evolution of the Information Security Strategy and Strategic Plan, ensuring continued alignment with enterprise priorities, business objectives, the evolving threat landscape, and leadership direction.
- Lead the strategic planning lifecycle, including annual planning, strategic refreshes, quarterly reviews, and certification of strategic priorities, outcomes, and measures of success.
- Drive quarterly strategy reviews and certifications with accountable leaders, assessing progress, changes in strategic assumptions, emerging risks, dependencies, and areas requiring leadership attention or intervention.
- Develop compelling executive and Board-level narratives that clearly communicate Information Security strategy, progress, outcomes, risks, strategic choices, and required decisions.
- Identify emerging trends, risks, opportunities, and enterprise changes that may impact the Information Security strategy, proactively recommending adjustments to strategic priorities or direction.
- Strengthen strategy governance and execution discipline across Information Security, establishing effective approaches for measuring progress, maintaining accountability, surfacing strategic dependencies, and connecting strategy to execution.
- Lead cross-functional orchestration of strategic priorities across Information Security, partnering with initiative owners, portfolio leaders, Finance, Technology, Risk, and business stakeholders to identify dependencies, resolve execution barriers, and ensure strategic commitments translate into measurable results.
- Partner with portfolio, finance, and leadership teams to connect strategic priorities to investment decisions, resource allocation, and portfolio planning, identifying gaps between strategic ambition and funded execution.
- Build strong partnerships across Technology, Enterprise Risk, Finance, business units, and other key stakeholders to ensure Information Security strategy is integrated with broader enterprise priorities, transformation efforts, and planning processes.
- Maintain an enterprise view of strategic risks, dependencies, decisions, and execution barriers, proactively escalating issues and driving resolution across accountable leaders and teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires BS/BA in information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people; experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Security Certifications: CISSP and other advanced technical security certifications (e.g. Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, Information Security Engineering Professional, Certification and Accreditation Professional, or equivalent certifications) strongly preferred.
- Experience planning and designing highly complex systems is strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $139,920 to $228,960.
