Job Summary**

ALS Testing Services India Private Limited is seeking a meticulous and analytical Chemist to perform various laboratory tests and analyses on samples, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

Job Responsibilities**

• Sample preparation and Analysis of Chemical and Nutritional parameters in Food & Agricultural products, AYUSH Products, Marine/Aquaculture, Nutraceuticals & Functional Foods, Animal Food & Feeds, and other matrix at Central lab as per IS, ISO, BSEN, AOAC, FSSAI Manual Methods, customer methods, laboratory developed internal methods, other national and international methods.
• Ensure the availability & Procurement of all the consumables, solvents required for the analysis.
• Calibration & Maintenance of the instruments used in the laboratory for analysis as per the set procedure.
• Intermediate checks for the CRMs and calibration of the instruments
• Preparing the control charts and trending of the Quality Check sample.
• Maintain all the records in the laboratory for-Calibration, Intermediate checks, Sample Preparation, Standard Consumption, Breakdown, sample logbooks, Environmental conditions etc.
• Ensure the less down time of the instruments.
• Records and Maintain Environmental conditions & Good Housekeeping in the laboratory
• Maintain impartiality and confidentiality in activities carried out at ALS.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
* 0-3 years of experience in a commercial testing laboratory or a relevant industrial setting.
* Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various analytical instruments.
* Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.
* Excellent data interpretation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is a plus.
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
