- Plan and prioritize work for self, assist lead by providing inputs on in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects involving Workday implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Lead / Manage – Launch Implementation projects / Your Way implementations, manage workload for the team, assist team in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.
- Coordinate with the EM / PM and Client for project delivery
- Multi-task and engage on multiple projects at a time for lead activities.
- End to end ownership of assigned projects
- Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
We will count on you to:
- Lead multiple projects in same time within Absence and Time Tracking.
- Ability to conduct Workshop Sessions independently and handle Customer queries and Address on time.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Ability to Work as a team and coordinate the deliverables with other Consultants.
- Deliver solutions for in scope Absence and Time Tracking, Reporting/ Dashboards related to Absence and Time Tracking for implementation.
- Identify scope, scope gaps & get them addressed.
- Identify right stakeholders in the project.
- Communicate & collaborate with project internal / external stakeholders for project success & plan inputs.
- Leading or participating in Workday implementation projects from planning to execution.
- Gather and document requirements, assess complexity and level of effort estimates, prioritizes capacity, and defines development and analysis timelines.
- Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Mentor and Coach team members.
- Being flexible to work in multiple time zones, multiple teams
- Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact
- Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality
What you need to have:
- Should be Workday Absence and Time Tracking Certified
- Total 12+years of experience (7years in WD)
- BE /B.Tech /MCA /BSc.Extensive experience working with clients as a “Consultant” to drive implementation projects
- Develop and implement strategies for maximizing the organization's use of the Workday platform to enhance business processes and achieve operational goals.
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Workday implementation, upgrades, and ongoing optimization projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage a team of Workday professionals, including analysts, consultants, and developers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure team success.
- Absence and Time Tracking Requirements, Definition - Investigate the business / technical requirements for the client’s Absence and Time Tracking needs, work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the organization's needs and priorities.
- Provide a overview to the client on Absence and Time Tracking capabilities of Workday.
- Should be able to handle Payroll Parallel queries related to Absence and Time Tracking.
- Design the Workday solution to meet the needs.
- Conducting sessions with client personnel to verify the required aspects of the Absence and Time Tracking; help them fill up Absence and Time Tracking requirements template.
- Application Testing – Assist clients with the testing of the delivered reports. Testing is driven by the scenarios from the client team.
- Production Support – Includes the practices and disciplines of supporting the Workday solution for a period of time post deployment.
- Production Rollout – Assist with the rollout of the Workday solution into the production environment.
- Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectations
- Identify and manage issue resolution including escalation as needed
- Interact and communicate effectively with mid and senior level management.
- Works with senior level management for understanding the future priorities and plans.
- Develop & manage communication plans with stakeholders aimed at improved collaboration.
- Leverage synergies between global information systems
- Experience with Workday Project Lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, providing clear direction, setting goals, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Extensive experience working with Workday Absence and Time Tracking, Reporting and Data Conversion for Absence and Time Tracking, including configuration, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Advanced Reports, Composite Reports, Dashboards and other complex reporting needs.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday object model of and solution design approach around it
- Knowledge of HR, Payroll systems and other functional areas
- Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.
- Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.
- Ability to train users in a classroom setting.
- Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.
