About the role
MSS Security is seeking a Permanent Part Time Security Officer to work at our Gold Coast site in Southport. This role combines static guarding and customer service, ensuring the safety and security of the site, staff and visitors while providing a professional and welcoming presence. This position is required to work three days per week.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a highly visible security presence to deter unauthorised access and protect staff, visitors and site assets.
- Perform static guarding duties and monitor access points
- Provide professional and friendly customer service, assisting staff and visitors with enquiries and security-related requests.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, suspicious activity and safety concerns.
Requirements:
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Current QLD Security Licence
- Certificate II in security operations (Or higher)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Availability to work 3 days per week (20 hours)
