This role serves as a technical lead, coordinating onshore and offshore development efforts to ensure quality, timely delivery, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

The hiring range for this position is $63.00 to $70.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay rate actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
This role serves as a technical lead, coordinating onshore and offshore development efforts to ensure quality, timely delivery, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Daily Tasks Performed:
- Codes and performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements.
- Codes, tests, and debugs new software or makes enhancements to existing software.
- Writes programs according to specifications from higher-level staff or business analysts.
- Develops technical documentation.
- Resolves in a timely manner problems that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components.
- Collaborates with technical staff to learn and understand software problems.
- Generates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration, and data extraction techniques.
- Provides general system users and management with system analysis and feedback.
- Influences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements.
- Mentors and coaches less experienced staff.
- Maximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs.
- Analyzes and resolves computer-related problems by coordinating with in‐house personnel to diagnose and fix the operational difficulty, as well as consulting, advising, and training on specialized features and functions.
- Follows established configuration/change control processes.
- Remains up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding Web apps.
- Develops technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.
- Creates and tests software prototypes.
- Completes all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.
- Develops large scale web/database applications.
- Maintains and supports multiple projects and deadlines.
- Records work progress every week.
- Communicates with offshore daily and gathers business/technical requirements for the offshore team.
- Provides technical leadership and day-to-day oversight for offshore development teams, including work planning, task assignment, and delivery tracking.
- Reviews offshore code deliverables to ensure compliance with architectural standards, security requirements, and performance expectations.
- Translates business and technical requirements into clearly defined technical tasks, user stories, and design artifacts consumable by offshore teams.
- Serves as the primary onshore escalation point for offshore delivery issues, risks, and dependency management.
- Ensures offshore deliverables meet agreed sprint commitments, quality standards, and defect thresholds.
- Partners with the Scrum Master / Project Manager to support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical dependency management.

- Advanced knowledge of software design, construction, programming trends, programming, and scripting languages in multiple applications and data management systems.
- Advanced ability to work with users at all levels to define system requirements, design, and system topologies to meet operational needs and system performance objectives.
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users and the project manager.
- Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces.
- Ability to construct user guides and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience acting as an onshore technical lead for offshore or distributed development teams.
- Strong ability to provide technical direction, estimates, and delivery commitments across multiple time zones.
- Experience ensuring offshore work aligns with enterprise SDLC, change management, and audit requirements.

Required Skills:
- 10+ years of development experience with .NET programming languages, Windows forms, HTML5/CSS3 and SQL Server, Javascript, in an n-tier architecture.
- Experience with .NET core.
- Strong MS SQL Server skills. Experience in SQL Query and Stored Procedures.
- Experience leading teams across various time zones.
- Integration experience with AWS is preferred.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns.
- Strong experience with API integration using REST/SOAP technologies.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in developing front-end applications.
- Experience with Webservices, WCF, and service-oriented architecture a plus.
- Experience with GIT and continuous integrations.
- Passion for technology and knowledge
