Position Summary 

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Farm & Retail Store to manage and grow relationships with farm stores, retail stores, and related customer accounts.

This position requires someone with industry experience who understands how to develop accounts, maintain strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and support the ongoing needs of retail-based customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, experience working with retail or dealer accounts, and the ability to develop new business while maintaining existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing farm store and retail store accounts 
• Identify opportunities to expand business within current accounts 
• Develop new farm store and retail customer relationships 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, store managers, and decision-makers 
• Understand customer purchasing needs, product demand, and sales opportunities 
• Work closely with internal departments to support customer orders, product availability, pricing, and service needs 
• Monitor account activity and follow up on opportunities, concerns, and outstanding items 
• Develop sales strategies to increase revenue and strengthen customer relationships 
• Assist with forecasting customer demand and identifying market opportunities 
• Track sales activity and provide updates to leadership 
• Represent the company professionally with customers and industry partners

Requirements

• Previous sales experience within the tire, automotive, distribution, farm supply, retail, or closely related industry 
• Experience managing B2B customer accounts 
• Strong understanding of account development and relationship-based sales 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities 
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills 
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal departments 
• Comfortable working with pricing, customer needs, and account performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling tires or automotive products 
• Experience working directly with farm stores, retail stores, dealers, or multi-location accounts 
• Previous sales management or senior account management experience 
• Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, or distribution 
• Experience developing new territories or customer accounts
