We're looking for a talented Field Application Engineer to join the Laird Sales Team.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for Thermal Interface Material, EMI, absorber, inductive components and other products or solutions promotion.

• Provide in-depth & hands-on technical support to responsible market & customers.

• Regularly attend customer design review meetings and provide technical design support.

• Utilize all product offerings, providing insightful and detailed design solutions.

• Present design solutions to customer team, utilizing solid model design techniques during presentation.

• Drive prototype, tool build, and initial production build to meet customer timelines.

• Originate and release final production documentation, detailed with critical dimensions and tolerances required for a functional part, but also taking into account manufacturing restrictions.

• Manage and direct a product development design team consisting of multiple engineering disciplines.

• Manage and coordinate activities between departments to meet product development requirements.

• Simultaneously set priorities/direction for multiple development programs

• Responsible for working with OEM engineers, Manufacturer's Representatives, Distribution Partners, and Territory Sales Managers to implement Laird Technologies provided solutions for existing, qualifying, next-gen, and cost reduction programs.

• Keep work skills current to ensure Laird Performance Materials competitiveness in a dynamic global business environment. May require extensive travel to customer sites required providing design specific solutions.

• Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer materials & Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or relevant.

• Knowledge or experience in any of Thermal Interface Material, EMI products, Precision Metal, or MCP products will be necessary.

• Solid Field Application Engineer experience in Thermal & EMI on Electronics or Automotive Industry

• Expertise required to take a product through development and on to production.

• Good English & Korean communication

• Willing to travel (domestic/overseas)

Nice to Have:

• 3rd language ability (industrial, or medical-relatedhineensurese and others)

• Sound experience in telecom, Datacom, automotive, industrial, or medical-related applications

• 5+ years of design experience for electronics on several applications

• Skillful in 3D modeling, Thermal analysis, EMI simulation/testing, Finite Element Analysis
