Job Purpose:

As a Cash Applications Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring customer payments are accurately allocated and reconciled within our financial systems. You will support cash application activities, investigate payment discrepancies, and work closely with Credit & Collections teams to maintain accurate customer account balances.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Process and allocate incoming customer payments accurately and on time
• Manage the Direct Debit process from start to finish
• Perform end-to-end credit card reconciliation activities
• Handle cheque and bill of exchange processing
• Investigate and resolve payment-related queries
• Reconcile cash-in-transit accounts
• Support SOX compliance and internal control processes

What We're Looking For:

• Vocational qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• No previous professional experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working with data and financial information
• Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues
• Resilient and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
