The Workday Enterprise Solutions Administrator helps manage, support, and enhance the Workday system for the organization. This position focuses on maintaining a highly functional and effective Workday environment across Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance Management, Student Management, Planning and Analytics Management and other supported modules. The administrator oversees system configuration, business processes, integrations, reporting, feature releases, and user support while partnering with departments to ensure Workday meets operational needs. The position works in partnership with the Director of Data and Software Development to support Workday strategy, system optimization, and institutional business process improvements. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. This is a 100% in person position.Performs regular reviews of Workday functionality to ensure modules, business processes, and integrations are operating effectively and meeting organizational needs
Configures, maintains, and enhances Workday module administration, including Human Resources, Finance, Student, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Reporting, and other supported areas
Serves as the functional expert for Workday, ensuring system configurations align with institutional policies and business needs
Manages Workday feature updates and releases, including testing, validation, communication, and implementation of new functionality
Maintains system governance and supporting documentation
Provides advanced application support and troubleshooting for Workday functional issues, integrations, reporting, and data-related concerns
Works closely with the Director of Data and Software Development to provide functional and operational support across all Workday modules, ensuring business processes, system functionality, and institutional requirements are effectively supported
Develops and delivers training, guidance, and support materials to help users effectively utilize Workday features and functionality
Coordinates with IT and third-party vendors to support integrations, system enhancements, data exchanges, and ongoing application improvements
Recommends new features, configurations, and process improvements that increase the effectiveness and usability of Workday across the institution
Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and data insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and college
Rate of Pay $75,147.00 annualized *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position.
This is a 100% in-person position. Not a remote position.
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an associate degree in computer science, mathematics, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Four (4) years of experience working with Workday or a comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, supporting multiple functional areas such as Human Resources, Finance, Student, Payroll, Benefits, Reporting, or related business operations
Three (3) years of experience serving in a lead functional, technical, or systems administration role with responsibility for coordinating projects, guiding system improvements, and supporting cross-functional stakeholders
Demonstrated success in analyzing complex business and system requirements, exercising sound judgement, and making critical decisions that positively impact Workday functionality, data integrity, operational efficiency, compliance, and overall user experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of Workday functionality, configuration, business processes, reporting, and module administration
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions
Experience working across multiple Workday modules, including Human Resources, Finance, Student, Payroll, Benefits, Reporting, and related applications
Skill in configuring and maintaining business processes, workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations
Experience supporting enterprise applications, data management, and system implementations
Ability to organize tasks, manage projects, lead collaborative efforts, and work effectively across multiple departments
Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users, delivering training, and creating clear documentation
Ability to stay current with Workday functionality, releases, best practices, and emerging features
