Service Sales & Offerings Manager, East Asia

We are looking for a Service Sales & Offerings Manager, East Asia, leading the service team for Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Japan in Eaton’s electrical business, based in Malaysia, Selangor.

## What you’ll do:

"The Service Sales Offering Manager is responsible for developing, managing and commercializing service offerings that drive profitable growth across the power quality and power distribution service business lines.

This role connects customer needs, market opportunities and the service business organization. The manager will develop competitive service solutions, equip sales teams with effective value propositions and support the conversion of service opportunities into long-term customer relationships and recurring revenue."

"Service Offering Development

A. Develop and manage the service offering portfolio across the offering and customer lifecycle.

B. Create new service solutions based on customer requirements, market trends and the company’s installed base.

C. Develop offerings such as spare-parts support, equipment upgrades, modernization, remote monitoring and lifecycle service agreements.

D. Establish clear value propositions and competitive differentiation.

E. Manage the complete offering lifecycle, including development, launch, performance review, improvement and retirement.

F. Ensure new offerings are operationally deliverable, commercially viable and scalable.

Sales Leadership & Business Growth

A. Lead the service sales organization in identifying and developing service opportunities.

B. Prepare sales tools, proposal templates, presentations, pricing guidelines, case studies and customer-facing materials.

C. Conduct training for service sales teams on new offerings, value propositions and customer engagement.

D. Work with service sales to increase service-contract penetration and expand the coverage of the installed base.

E. Drive contract renewals, upgrades, cross-selling and conversion from transactional services to multi-year agreements.

F. Support strategic customer engagements and communicate the business value of lifecycle services."

"Pricing & Profitability

A. Develop competitive and sustainable pricing models for service offerings.

B. Work with finance and operations to understand labour, materials, logistics, subcontractor and overhead costs.

C. Monitor offering service sales revenue, gross margin and contract profitability.

D. Recommend pricing adjustments and productivity improvements.

E. Maintain appropriate governance over discounts, commercial exceptions and non-standard service commitments.

A. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking

B. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS

C. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements

D. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals

E. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS

F. Create a culture of continuous improvement "

## Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

"A. 7–10 years of experience in service sales, service marketing, product management, offering management or business development

B. At least 5 years’ experience in team management

C. Regional or multi-country experience would be advantageous."

## Skills:

"A. Experience in electrical power systems, UPS systems, switchgear, power distribution or data-centre infrastructure

B. Demonstrated experience developing and commercializing service offerings

C. Strong understanding of service contracts, lifecycle services and recurring-revenue business models

D. Experience supporting complex proposals, tenders and commercial negotiations

E. Experience in SalesForce would be advantageous."
