Job Description
Job Summary:**
The Wealth Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring, deepening, and retaining high-net-worth individual clients for United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, providing comprehensive financial advice and solutions across a range of wealth management products and services.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Identify, develop, and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, establishing strong and trusted relationships.
* Conduct thorough financial needs analyses for clients, understanding their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and long-term financial goals.
* Propose and implement tailored wealth management solutions, including investment products (e.g., unit trusts, structured products, equities), insurance, treasury products, and lending solutions.
* Monitor client portfolios regularly, providing performance reviews and recommending adjustments as market conditions or client circumstances change.
* Proactively engage with clients to cross-sell and upsell a full range of UOB products and services, maximizing client wallet share.
* Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., AML/CFT, KYC), and ethical standards.
* Collaborate with product specialists, legal, and compliance teams to deliver holistic solutions and ensure a seamless client experience.
* Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and competitor offerings to provide informed advice.
* Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team's performance.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry.
* Proven track record of acquiring and managing high-net-worth client relationships.
* Strong understanding of investment products, insurance solutions, and financial planning principles.
* Possession of relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CMFAS Module 6A, 6, 6B) is highly preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
* Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in other languages (e.g., Mandarin) is an advantage.
