Job Description:
Account Executive, Brand
Are you curious about the stories shaping culture, media and consumer brands? Do you enjoy balancing creativity and organization while helping bring communications campaigns to life?
As an Account Executive, Brand at Zeno, you will play an important role in supporting and executing integrated communications programs for a diverse portfolio of clients. Working closely with account teams, you will contribute to earned media initiatives, content development, reporting and day-to-day client management while helping deliver impactful results for leading brands.
Unlike an entry-level communications role, this position offers greater ownership of client workstreams and opportunities to build deeper expertise in media relations, project management and integrated communications. You will develop trusted relationships with clients, contribute strategic thinking to programs and help guide junior team members while continuing to grow your communications skillset.
About the Role:
Client Relationship Management: Support day-to-day client communications, participate in client meetings and presentations, and build a strong understanding of client businesses, industries, products and target audiences.
Media Relations & Content Development: Execute media relations programs, develop media lists, draft compelling pitches, and write and edit a variety of communications materials, including press releases, fact sheets, briefing documents and messaging materials.
Program Execution & Project Management: Manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously while maintaining timelines, trackers, agendas, status updates and other account management tools that keep programs running smoothly.
Reporting & Performance Measurement: Compile media coverage, campaign results and performance summaries, helping teams evaluate program success and identify opportunities for future communications efforts.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Serve as a key point of coordination across internal teams, vendors and external partners while providing guidance and support to Assistant Account Executives and interns.
Integrated Communications Support: Contribute creative ideas during brainstorms, support the development of integrated communications programs and apply communications, marketing and business insights to client campaigns.
About You:
2+ years of experience in public relations, communications or a similar agency environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing clear, compelling and audience-focused content.
Familiarity with earned media outreach, media research and media list development, with an interest in consumer and brand communications.
Comfortable engaging with clients, presenting updates and contributing ideas in meetings and collaborative environments.
Collaborative, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and respond effectively to changing priorities.
Eager to mentor junior team members, contribute to team success and continue developing strategic communications expertise.
Pay Range: $55,000–$70,000 USD/yr.
