ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE 

At STX, we're transforming how our trading business operates. The Product & Technology team is redesigning the systems, workflows, and user experiences that support the end-to-end trading lifecycle, enabling the business to scale across new markets, products, and opportunities. 

As a Senior Product Designer, you will help shape this transformation by creating intuitive internal tools and experiences used by traders, operations teams, and finance stakeholders. Your work will directly influence how STX processes trades, serves clients, and grows as a company.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Design end-to-end workflows and user experiences for STX's internal trading, operations, and settlement platforms. 
• Partner closely with traders, operations teams, product managers, and engineers to understand complex business processes and translate them into intuitive solutions. 
• Lead user discovery, research, and testing activities to validate problems and ensure solutions are effective. 
• Design for both standard workflows and exception scenarios across multiple commodities and operational processes. 
• Contribute hands-on to UX and UI design while helping evolve a scalable design approach across the product landscape. 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of Product Design experience, ideally within complex B2B products, operational platforms, or internal tooling environments. 
• Strong UX and UI design skills with a passion for quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. 
• Proven ability to design complex end-to-end user journeys, workflows, and systems. 
• Experience independently driving discovery, research, stakeholder engagement, and user testing. 
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and the ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. 
• Nice to have: Interest in trading, commodities, fintech, or other complex financial domains.
