Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Digital Assurance Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment where you will support teams and participate in projects that enhance your understanding of auditing methodologies and digital assurance practices. Within our Assurance practice, you will gain exposure to financial reporting and decision-making processes, contributing to the transparency and integrity of client engagements. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe and learn from experienced professionals, helping you build a foundation in audit and assurance.

As an Intern, you will focus on developing your skills through active participation and observation. You will be encouraged to apply a learning mindset, take ownership of your development, and appreciate diverse perspectives. Your role will involve conducting research, performing basic tasks, and supporting teams in delivering value to clients. In this role, you will have the chance to work on various assignments, each presenting different challenges and scope, allowing you to establish your personal brand and pave the way for future opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and compliance
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and integrity in assessments
- Engaging in basic research and data analysis to contribute to project goals
- Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit processes
- Collaborating with team members to apply cloud engineering principles in audit tasks
- Gathering and analyzing information to identify patterns and support decision-making
- Applying compliance and governance standards to uphold ethical practices within the organization
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve personal and professional development
- Contributing to the team's success by taking initiative and producing quality work

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
