JOB SUMMARY
The Lounge & Community Specialist supports the daily operations of the Members Lounge and fostering a welcoming community environment. This role is responsible for helping maintain a clean, organized, and member-friendly space, supporting member and guest needs, assisting with event operations, and contributing to community engagement and lounge utilization initiatives.
The Lounge & Community Specialist helps ensure smooth day-to-day operations and delivers a positive experience for members, guests, and event organizers through friendly service, operational support, and effective communication.
WORK HOURS:
- Thursdays and Fridays, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- There is an online staff meeting every Friday from 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM (sometimes extended until 12:00 PM).
- Coverage for other team members’ absences or weekend event support would be handled on a case-by-case basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Lounge Operations:
- Support daily lounge operations to ensure the space remains clean, organized, welcoming, and ready for use
- Perform opening and closing procedures, light facility upkeep, and general space organization
- Assist with event setup, teardown, venue preparation, reception, and guest guidance before, during, and after events
- Coordinate basic communication with event organizers and provide simple post- event updates and reporting
- Provide friendly and professional support to members and visitors
- Assist with inquiries, onboarding, and lounge amenity guidance
- Provide first-level support for member and guest concerns and escalate issues to management when needed
- Provide basic support for the use and setup of lounge equipment and podcast/media facilities as needed
- Support lead generation activities to increase lounge utilization, membership growth, and event bookings.
- Assist in identifying prospective members, clients, partners, and event organizers, and maintain accurate records within designated systems.
- Provide initial support, follow-up communication, and engagement with prospective members, clients, and facility users.
- Support the promotion of events, programs, and community activities to encourage participation and strengthen community engagement.
- Assist with facility rental inquiries, service guidance, and estimate/quote preparation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with members, guests, and event organizers to support community growth and facility utilization.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of sales, marketing, and community management tools and platforms.
- Share ideas and suggestions to help improve lounge operations and member experience
- Perform other related tasks as necessary to support smooth lounge operations and an exceptional member experience.

Occasional local travel may be required.
Primarily a part-time position; however, full-time may be considered for a strong candidate with a good balance of sales, hospitality, and community engagement.
