About the Job
- Develop and execute the regional Contract Logistics business development strategy.
- Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing strategic customer relationships.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across IMEA.
- Lead and support strategic RFQs, RFPs, customer presentations and contract negotiations.
- Partner with Country Managing Directors, Sales, Operations and Solutions Design to develop competitive and profitable customer solutions.
- Support countries in winning large, complex and multi-country logistics opportunities.
- Ensure commercial governance, sales discipline and pipeline reporting across the region.
- Monitor business development performance, sales KPIs and forecast accuracy.
- Identify market trends and growth opportunities to strengthen Hellmann’s Contract Logistics market position.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in business development, contract logistics, or supply chain management, with regional exposure across IMEA preferred.
- Proven track record of acquiring new business and managing strategic customer relationships in the logistics industry.
- Strong experience leading complex RFQs, RFPs, commercial proposals, and contract negotiations.
- In-depth knowledge of Contract Logistics solutions, supply chain operations, and value-added services.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute regional business development strategies that deliver profitable growth.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Solutions Design, and Country Leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop competitive customer solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, KPIs, and CRM reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel across the IMEA region as required.
