Come Drive Innovation with Us. We’re currently looking for a Planner, CMM (INFINITI) to join our team in Franklin, TN. 


This role will be responsible for supporting product launches, ongoing marketing activities and serves as the point of contact for questions and issues from employees in related functions.  Reviews marketing support materials, and coordinates the ordering and scheduling of pre-trial units. Creates and ensures the accuracy of vehicle window stickers.  Develops and maintains monthly sales management reports.  Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.

A Day in the Life:

  • Communicates content changes and features of upcoming vehicle models to vendors and related departments. Works with vendors to determine trim mix and option packages for allocation. Verifies that pre-trial vehicles are product correct and coordinates use for advertising and promotion materials and media production. Validates all vehicle claims and quotes, working with Legal to validate INFINITI vehicle specifications to competitor specifications.

  • Significant focus of the position is in creating and updating weekly, monthly, and ad hoc business performance measurement reports. This includes pulling and merging data/information from a wide variety of sources for analysis and presentation. Combines data from multiple sources understanding their meaning, relationships and impact on marketing plans. These systems include V-Pipe, Vin Pipe, Strategic Vision, PAI, Polk, PIN Explorer, DNA, Worksphere, DIMES, Annex, etc.

  • Assists in developing pricing and production mix tactics, working cross functionally with Pricing and Mix Management on pricing tasks and new model proposals. Keeps track of competitor pricing and incentive movements to ensure vehicle competitiveness.

  • Reviews and ensures accuracy of marketing communications materials including; dealer training materials, regional advertising, product brochures, television footage, web pages, direct mail campaigns, and others while working directly with advertising/communications agencies and employees in related functions to ensure consistency of messaging and product positioning. Responsible for the review and approval for product accuracy.

  • Authors and ensures the accuracy of vehicle window stickers which list prices and information for prospective buyers on a vehicle's standard equipment, and specific options, gasoline consumption expectations and environmental data. Verifies proper verbiage and content, accuracy of information, and legality through leading cross functional team meetings including legal, ProdT, VehOps, VCS, etc.

  • Reviews promotions against concept and briefing statements for demographics and positioning. Coordinates events, including vehicle availability, signage, literature, and staffing. Coordinates the management of assets during a vehicle launch, working with the DNA team to manage the requests and creative delivery of assets to various teams.

Who We're Looking for:

Required:

  • Knowledge of competitor products, market positions and effective marketing strategy. 

  • Possess a strong understanding of marketing principles. 

  • Very strong organizational, communication and analytical skills. 

  • Ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets, as well as create and deliver presentations. 

  • Presents clear, concise and accurate information to Senior Manager/s and Director(s). 

  • Regularly works cross functionally with other Marketing functions to resolve discrepancies and discuss solutions. 

  • Regularly communicates approved information outside of the CMM group and the Division (i.e. to the field and dealers).

  • Bachelors in Business or Marketing. 

  • At least 3 years of experience reviewing and executing elements of national marketing plans varying in scope and complexity. 

  • Consider equivalent related college or technical courses, seminars and in-house classroom training.

  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Experience using internal data systems, such as V-pipe, Strategic Vision, PIN Explorer, PAI, Polk, and Annex preferred.

Desired:

  • Additional experience in pricing, market research, vehicle ops, product planning, PMO, and brand management is highly preferred.

  • Technical automotive product knowledge and passion for cars is highly desired.
