What you’ll do
At AlixPartners, Consultants are an integral part of delivering measurable results for clients facing complex business challenges. As a Consultant in our Performance team, you will work alongside experienced professionals to drive operational improvement, growth, cost transformation, and performance optimization initiatives across a range of industries.
You will be a hands-on contributor responsible for conducting analyses, developing insights, supporting client engagements, and helping clients execute practical solutions that create sustainable value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting client engagements focused on performance improvement, growth strategy, cost reduction, operational excellence, and organizational transformation.
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, including financial analysis, market research, operational diagnostics, and data-driven performance assessments.
- Developing structured problem-solving approaches and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Building financial models, business cases, and executive-ready presentations.
- Participating in client workshops, interviews, and working sessions to identify challenges and improvement opportunities.
- Supporting implementation efforts by tracking initiatives, measuring impact, and assisting clients in driving change.
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Demonstrating AlixPartners' core values and contributing positively to team culture and development.

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree from a leading university with strong academic performance.

Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, performance improvement, transformation, operations, finance, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to structure complex business issues.

Experience developing quantitative analyses, business cases, and financial models.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly and professionally.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

High level of intellectual curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Fluency in English is required. Additional Asian language capabilities are advantageous.

Willingness to travel as required by client engagements.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
