Description
The result is one of the great growth stories in consumer brand history. A company that started in a small Manhattan Beach office in 1992 is now the world's third-largest footwear brand. More than $9 billion in annual sales, products in over 180 countries, and double-digit growth, all while the rest of the industry fights for single digits.
None of it happened by waiting for permission. It happened because the right people treated the business as their own, moved fast, and worked together toward outcomes that showed up in the market. That's the standard we hire to. We're not managing a legacy. We're building one.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an International Production and Planning Coordinator for Skechers, you will facilitate the overview process of orders production management for our international accounts. Interface with Skechers China office, factories, product development/design department, customer service, and allocations department to ensure accurate and timely processing of production and customer orders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Analyze orders booked against production daily and make adjustments before small gaps become real problems.
- Follow up directly with our China office and factories on production buys and x-factory dates to keep shipments on track.
- Review weekly factory status reports across subsidiary accounts in Europe, Brazil, Chile, Japan, Latin America, the Philippines, and India — identifying delays and discrepancies and acting fast to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate size inventory across our Subsidiary Distribution Centers, making allocation adjustments that reflect real inventory levels.
- Own problems when they surface. Diagnose what went wrong, connect the right people, and drive it to resolution.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Hands-on experience in production coordination, order management, or supply chain — ideally with international or overseas factory relationships.
- The ability to manage hundreds of SKUs and purchase orders simultaneously without losing track of the details that matter.
- Excel fluency that goes beyond functional — you're fast, comfortable with large data sets, and know how to surface what's important.
- A critical thinker's instinct: you solve problems before they compound and escalate only when necessary.
- Meticulous organizational habits and a track record of hitting deadlines even when the variables keep changing.
The pay range for this position is $27-$30/hr USD.
