Pay Transparency
The anticipated starting salary range for New York-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $66,300/yr. to $75,000/yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview
With an emphasis on supporting and amplifying Audacy’s programming and talent, the Social Content Strategy Manager will focus on working closely with our local markets to translate the energy and immediacy of our content (sports broadcasts, show analysis, personalities, podcasts, pop culture and fan moments) into compelling, social-first storytelling that drives engagement and builds community. This role will also have the opportunity to contribute across formats including music, news, and news/talk - ensuring our social strategy is dynamic and aligned with the unique strengths of each brand.

- Strategy & Growth: Evolve Audacy’s social presence by working closely with radio and podcast teams to implement growth tactics.
- Talent Development: Develop and educate our on-air and podcast talent on effective social strategies to grow their multiplatform footprint.
- Content Production: Produce original content (video, audio, graphics, and copy) optimized for each platform, and oversee social production and distribution for premiere Audacy Podcasts.
- Local Market Support: Act as an educator and support resource for local markets, enabling them to execute social strategies efficiently and independently.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with programming and promotions teams to ensure on-air, digital, and social efforts reinforce one another.
- Paid Social: Manage and execute paid social marketing campaigns to boost reach and engagement.
- Data & Analytics: Use analytics and performance insights to shape strategy, optimize content, and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Trend Monitoring: Monitor cultural and platform trends, recommending new tools, formats, and approaches to keep our brands relevant and competitive.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in social media.
- Demonstrated experience in social production alongside active, day-to-day community management.
- Proficiency in video production, specifically tailored for social-first formats (e.g., Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Proven hands-on experience in planning, executing, and optimizing paid social marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully running influencer and creator campaigns.
- A deep understanding of social analytics, native platform insights, and performance metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
