To continue our success, we are looking for a Frontline Manager – Raw Materials who will be responsible for the day to day management of the raw materials and warehouse area, inventory goods issued to operations and return of goods. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Raw Materials Store team and ensure compliance with Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP standards across warehouse and raw materials operations.
  • Manage raw material and indirect material inventory, including stock forecasting and SAP inventory maintenance as required.
  • Support supplier investigations and partner with purchasing to resolve material-related issues.
  • Forecast and assist with AOP planning for chemicals, consumables, and other cost elements within the area of responsibility.
  • Comply with the site Anti-Contamination Policy to ensure the food safety of The Smiths Snackfood company’s product 
  • Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety, and welfare of our people. 
  • Undertake all duties in accordance with company environmental policies and procedures and support continual improvement in environmental systems and performance as outlined in annual plans. 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong experience managing budgets and monitoring cost performance against annual allocations
  • Strong people management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, supported by food manufacturing industry experience.
  • Advanced SAP capability, including Materials Management (MM) and inventory management modules
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop effective solutions
  • Experienced in managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and performing effectively under pressure
