Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking and office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity through clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
