Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop warehouse team members.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage locations.
- Ensure inventory transactions and shipments are completed accurately.
- Monitor employee productivity and report warehouse performance metrics.
- Determine staffing levels and assign daily workloads.
- Communicate job expectations and provide ongoing performance coaching.
- Work directly with customers to resolve questions and operational concerns.
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and operational reports.
- Analyze warehouse performance and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
- Operate forklifts safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, or in a warehouse leadership role.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and team-building abilities.
- Experience managing inventory, cycle counts, auditing, forecasting, and inventory planning.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of logistics, shipping procedures, freight carriers, and distribution operations.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and warehouse compliance standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Business math skills and the ability to work with product numbers and alphanumeric codes.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
