Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Services in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping maintain a professional and secure environment through access control, visitor management, clear communication, and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, confirming appointments and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, and applicable security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, deliveries, and communications while protecting confidential information and supporting a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State guard license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
