Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Kodiak’s equipment, services, fleet capabilities, commercial processes, and customer-facing proposal requirements.
  • Review customer specifications, operating conditions, and commercial requirements to identify suitable equipment and service solutions in partnership with Account Managers and internal subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Fleet, Operations, Engineering, and other internal teams to confirm application fit, fleet availability, make-ready timing, delivery considerations, and proposal assumptions.
  • Support RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses by preparing accurate proposal content, commercial summaries, scope clarifications, equipment descriptions, pricing support, and required documentation.
  • Use available performance, fleet, pricing, and customer data to develop recommendations that balance customer requirements, operational feasibility, cost, compliance considerations, and commercial value.
  • Prepare cost/benefit analyses, scenario comparisons, and business case support for equipment redeployment, fleet optimization, proposal strategy, and customer solution development.
  • Serve as a commercial applications resource during the proposal process by explaining equipment capabilities, operating considerations, assumptions, and tradeoffs to internal teams and customers.
  • Track and communicate proposal deliverables, action items, clarifications, and deadlines to help ensure timely and complete customer submissions.
  • Assist with field and fleet optimization reviews by gathering information, summarizing opportunities, and supporting recommendations to improve utilization, reduce costs, and improve overall customer value.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant industry standards, regulatory considerations, emissions requirements, OEM capabilities, and market trends that may affect customer proposals and fleet recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement of proposal templates, commercial tools, application workflows, and internal processes used to evaluate and communicate customer solutions.
  • Provide guidance to Account Managers and commercial team members on application review processes, proposal inputs, fleet solution considerations, and customer-facing technical communication.
