Description

At TGE Freight, our Delivery Partners team manages and supports a national network of independent transport operators who play a critical role in delivering for our customers.

We’re looking for a practical, curious and tech-savvy professional to join our team and help strengthen assurance, governance, compliance and operational performance across the network.

This is not a traditional audit role. It’s an opportunity to work across transport operations while also helping us automate processes, improve systems and find smarter ways of working using technology, AI and data.

About the Role

You’ll work across assurance, compliance, operational performance and continuous improvement.

You could be reviewing NHVR, Chain of Responsibility and safety compliance, analysing performance data, supporting investigations or identifying opportunities to improve processes.

A key part of the role will be looking at how we can automate and simplify existing processes – using AI, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot and other technology to improve efficiency, reporting and visibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct operational, compliance and assurance reviews

  • Identify risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities

  • Analyse data and performance trends to drive better outcomes

  • Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Build strong relationships with delivery partners and operational teams

  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline and improve processes

  • Develop dashboards, reporting and smarter digital solutions

  • Explore and apply AI and emerging technology to improve efficiency

  • Contribute to continuous improvement across the network

What We’re Looking For

We’re less interested in finding the perfect auditor and more interested in finding someone with the right mindset, curiosity and capability.

You may come from:

  • Transport, fleet, logistics or supply chain

  • Safety, risk, governance or compliance

  • Operational leadership or supervision

  • Data, technology or process improvement

You’ll bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication

  • A practical, hands-on and continuous improvement mindset

  • Confidence working with systems, data and reporting

  • Strong technology, AI or automation capability

  • Curiosity to challenge traditional ways of working

  • Current Australian Driver Licence and willingness to travel regionally

Tech & Innovation Experience? Even Better!

We’d love to hear from candidates who have experience with AI, automation, Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, workflow automation, dashboards or using technology to solve business problems.

If you’re passionate about transport, technology and finding smarter ways to work, this could be the role for you.
